It is hard to believe it has been forty years since we graduated from WNHS. While planning the reunion we thought it would be nice to support the American Heart Association by participating in their walk.
Working as a team, we can make a difference! Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation.
We are walking together - not only for our own health, but also for the health of our parents, our children, and our grandchildren. As we get older this cause has hit many close to home.
The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy, and inspiration. It's also an event where people work together to support one single goal - to create a world free of heart disease and stroke.
This year, as we celebrate our 40 year class reunion, the American Heart Association celebrates their Centennial. The heart association will move into thier second century with Bold Hearts focused on the work ahead while celebrating their lifesaving history with those who have made it possible. This relentless pursuit will continue until heart disease and stroke no longer exist.
Be a relentless force. Be a supporter of critical research. Be a lifesaver. Be a part of an unstoppable team. Be a Warrior!
Join us now and walk to save lives.
