As I celebrate my upcoming birthday, I'm thankful that I am also celebrating the 100th birthday of the American Heaert Association. 100 years of heart education and research!

Last year, I asked many of my friends to donate to the American Heart Association for my birthday, and I am asking you all again to join me in the fight against heart disease.

This past year I had a new pacemaker/defibrillator and new wires place in my chest.  The procedure increased my heart function by 10% which is amazing!  It's through research sponsored by the American Heart Association that these new procedures and medical technologies can help me and so many others put up the good fight against heart disease.  Your donation would be a wonderful birthday gift.
