Coronary disease is the leading cause of death in our country and has been a challenge for many friends and family. My mother, father and mother-in-law all survived significant heart attacks and the medical technology that saved them was funded through the American Heart Association. A few years ago, the disease raised its ugly head and changed my life, so I walk in honor of my family members who have battled this disease (past and present)
