Help me be a Heart Walk Hero!
Why do I participate in the Heart Walk? I do so in memory of my father, Donald Weiland, who suffered a heart attack in his 40s and ultimately died from from heart failure. I do so in support of the incredible research, diagnosis and treatments developed at Cleveland Clinic, the world's No. 1 hospital for heart care. And I do so in memory of the many family members, friends and colleagues we have lost to heart disease and stroke. This week my heart is particularly heavy for the family of Fred McLeod, the Cleveland Cavaliers television announcer, who died suddenly of a heart attack at age 67. Please consider walking on my team on Saturday, Sept. 21, making a donation, or attending our team fundraiser at Masthead Brewery on Wednesday, Sept. 19. Questions? Contact me at weilang@ccf.org. Thank you!
