Why do I walk and Go Red??
I walk and Go Red because I’m a Survivor! I survived a widow-maker heart attack, and I have quite a story!!!
In 2006, I had three procedures in 7 weeks to save my life. After my fourth stent, my sister dubbed me Stent Woman™ and so I am ...Stent Woman™ ...and Every Day Grateful!
Understandably, as a Survivor, this Walk is personal to me!! I am truly grateful for all my blessings along with the opportunity and ability to walk again in this event, raising funds to change and save lives!

My life was saved by being able to access health care and having great providers but only because they had Heart advancements and technology from research and development from fundraising efforts like the Heart Walk.
