I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
I received a phone call Saturday morning, August 12, 2017 from my father stating he thought he was having a stroke. I left my family as we were getting dressed for a wedding to drive 2 hours to see dad and mom. In the following days, I began to learn more about the path that lay in front of us. I was fortunate to be able to see my dad and to care for him at the end of his life. 6 months later and moving from hospital to skilled nursing to a nursing home, dad passed from the stroke related complications. Heart disease and stroke are not just one time events but they are events that alter the course of so many lives.
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
If everyone working at the Orlando Centralized Services can donate just $5 or even more, we can contribute $10,000 or more to help save the lives of our loved ones.
Would you help me reach my goal today?
