Before June 28, 2024 this space would have shared a request for support that contained borrowed, pre-written text. I would have asked for help raising funds for a cause I felt connected to, but that had not personally impacted me. However, in the early hours of that terrible Friday morning, the phone rang and when I picked it up, I learned that my funny, amazing, smart and unique brother-in-law was already gone from the world. This fit and active 59 year old father of two (and the most dedicated uncle to my son) had suffered a heart attack that no one saw coming.
This year, and every year, I will walk for Paul Minch, and for his family who are struggling to figure out how to live the rest of their lives without him.
