Team Heartmates includes survivors, care givers, care providers, family, and friends who have all benefitted from advancements in Medical Science.  While heart disease is still the #1 killer in our nation, our team’s survivors would be part of that statistic, if not for the advancements in medical science that saved each of our lives.  Now, we walk together to help fund additional research, so that heart disease is no longer the #1 killer of our future generations.

The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy and inspiration in support of a single goal: to see a world free of heart disease and stroke.  This year, we also celebrate the Centennial of the American Heart Association, and their continued lifesaving focus to beat heart disease and stroke.  While our team celebrates together, I hope you can help us fight heart disease,  by joining and/or donating today.
