We're a relentless force! Now imagine how much stronger we'll be working as a team! Heart disease is still the no. 1 killer and stroke ranks no. 5 in our nation.
We are walking together - not only for our own health, but also for yours. And for the health of our parents, our children, and our grandchildren.
This year we are walking for Charlie. He is our miracle who arrived in this world after several miscarriages and his big sister whose heart stopped after an hour of her birth.
Charlie was born a month premature with WolffParkinson-White (WPW) syndrome, a rare heart condition that causes an irregular or rapid heartbeat, also known as an arrhythmia, a small hole in his heart, and has now developed left ventricular dilation (cardiomyopathy).
Charlie is always smiling, and you would never even know he has a heart condition if you looked at him. Charlie has brought so much joy and hope to our family after experiencing such tragedy. Charlie’s strength and character give us the courage to embrace each day to live it to its fullest.
Be a relentless force. Be a supporter of critical research. Be a lifesaver. Be a part of an unstoppable team. Join us now and walk to save lives.
