I walk because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. Also, as a mother of a child with congenital heart disease, I have experienced both sides of caring for someone with heart disease and I know what these funds have helped us to do in the Cardiology field. There have been many advancements in cardiology, and we are helping to continue finding ways to help all who have heart disease or have a loved one or friend that may have had heart disease. When you join our St Elizabeth- Dearborn team, and when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke.
