Usually when you hear from me, I’m sharing a story about the great work the Kroger team is doing to change the way America eats, but today, I’m here with a personal request.
You may know my husband Chris suffered a cardiac arrest at the age of 50. It was a scary experience for our entire family, and we are so grateful that Chris is healthy today. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the doctors, nurses and emergency responders who cared for him – and we also are so grateful for the American Heart Association.
I am confident that the AHA’s dedication to research and commitment to teaching about CPR and AEDs saved Chris’s life. Today, I’d like to invite you to join me in supporting the organization’s continued work to help more people with heart disease live long and healthy lives.
I love the Heart Mini – and I’m so happy that we will be able to come back together in 2025. I will be walking with one million of my closest Heart Walk Hero friends across the nation to make a difference in someone’s life – and hopefully even save a life.
Please join me as a Heart Walk Hero during the 2025 Heart Mini Weekend. Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
