I'm raising money for the American Heart Association in honor of my mother, sister, and brother, all of whom I tragically lost to cardiac arrest due to Arterioclerotic Cardiac Disease. Their passing was not just a loss to me but to the many who loved them, and it left an indescribable void in our lives.
What makes this even more personal is that they were all young, vibrant people, and their lives were cut short far too soon. The impact of heart disease is often more than physical; it's emotional, financial, and it affects entire communities. Sadly, many underserved communities, including my own, face higher risks for heart disease due to lack of access to healthcare, proper education and preventative resources.
That's why I'm passionate about supporting the American Heart Association. I want to help fund research that could prevent others from going through what my family endured. I want to see improvements in healthcare access, particulary in underpresented communites, and support programs that help people recognize the warning signs and take action early.
It's not about just honoring my family's memory; its's about making sure fewer families have to experience this kind of pain. Please consider supporting the American Heart Associaton so we can make a real difference in heart disease research and prevention.
