This year, the Heart Mini is more personal than ever for me. I recently found out that I have a genetic cardiac condition—one that isn’t typically tested for until after a stroke has already happened. That’s not okay. I want to change that.
By raising funds for heart health research, I hope to support advancements in preventative testing so that my daughters, my family, and others like us can have the knowledge they need before a major event occurs. No one should have to wait until it’s too late to find out about a life-altering condition.
