The work of the AHA and the Life is Why campaign is very close to my heart. I lost both of my grandparents and an uncle to a heart attack, witnessed the devastating side effects that a stroke can have on a close friend’s quality of life and I have had the honor of taking care of many patients over the years who suffer from cardiovascular disease. Education, early detection and living a healthy lifestyle are all critical to saving and improving lives. The American Heart Association has a direct connection to my life's work as a Pharmacist and President of Kroger Health. Please join me in my commitment to help people live healthier lives!
