My Dad is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
For the past several years I've walked for my dad. That is still true for this year, but I'm also walking for my mom. As I think about it, I'm walking for both of my grandpa's, uncles, Scott's Aunt Pat, and friends as well. I'm sure you know many people affected by heart disease, too. As I visit units at the OSU Wexner Medical Center with my Buckeye Paws therapy dog, I've been surprised to see seemingly healthy and young people in the hospital for heart related problems. Lucky for us all that we have the American Heart Association that raises funds for research and new ways to help prevent heart disease.
