She is strong, she is mighty. We walk for Brinley Ray.
June of 2024 we had a routine chest x ray that ultimately led to us finding out our daughter, Brinley, was in severe heart failure due to a previous virus that attacked her heart. She spent a week in the CVICU at Cleveland Clinic and is currently under the care of the heart failure team monthly at Cleveland clinic children's. Brinley is currently fighting Cardiomyopathy, Left ventricular severe dysfunction and Arrythmogenic cardiomyopathy. We are unsure of the outcome if she will need a heart transplant in the future but all we can do is live one day at a time and continue to fight for her little heart to stay strong. After genetic testing we have also discovered me (her mama) & dad also have the PKP2 arrythmogenic cardiomyopathy gene- which also classifies us as high risk heart patients.
She is such a strong, happy, resilient little girl- we hope you will take the time and walk with us to support her in our 2nd year walking!
Thank you!
