I'm sharing this story because of my daughter Essynce Symone Mitchell who passed away on March 17th 2025 from idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy something we didn't even know she had she was always a very healthy woman when she was in college she was on cheer and stunt which is a very rigorous sport and she was actively on that team from sophomore year to her senior year. Once she left college she exercised regularly so this came as a shock to her family when she died. So I'm sharing this story in hopes to make awareness for people to get checked out and have your heart checked even if you don't have any symptoms because my daughter was 25 years old and she's not here anymore because of something I wish we could have caught early.
