I walk because my family has greatly been impacted by heart disease and stroke. I lost my father to heart disease in 2002. My mother has survived heart disease and strokes. And most recently we lost my father-in-law to a stroke. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke.
