I walk for my son Skyler, born with a number of congenital heart defects. In his short month of life: Skyler stayed in two different ICU's, had countless tests and imaging, and two heart surgeries. He did not make it home from the hospital due to complications from his congenital heart defects.
It is due to his care team at Children's Mercy Hospital that we were able to spend as much time with him as we did. Help us spread awareness for heart health, support research for CHD's, and lifesaving education in CPR for everyone.
