I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?
As the Development Director for the Heart Association in Kalamazoo, heart disease hit home when my dad had a major heart attack on December 27th, 2024. He was treated at an AHA "Get with the Guidelines" hospital. Stents were placed that were researched and developed by the AHA decades ago. He is still here in large part to the work of the AHA.
This year we will move health and well-being forward in important and critical ways. This relentless pursuit will continue until heart disease and stroke no longer exist.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today.
