My personal reason for supporting is unique - I was an AHA EmPOWERED to Serve Scholar in 2020, but have many family members (including a mom and brother) who face cardiac disease. Every dollar counts, as it was a $500 grant that first helped to create the battery-operated pacemaker - a revolutionary device that would not exist without support from donors like you!
