Heart disease is the number one killer in and strokes are the number five killer in our country.
I am very glad to say that I have the honor of being a team coach for the American Heart Association Metro Chicago Heart Walk.
The Heart Walk is a time of celebration, joy
and inspiration. It's also an event where people
work together to support one single goal - to
create a world free of heart disease and
stroke.
This is a cause very important to me as I have seen people very close to me struggle with heart disease and deal with strokes, as I am sure many of us have.
This is a great opportunity to raise money to provide up-to-the-minute research into doctors' hands so they can better prevent and treat heart disease among patients, as well as groundbreaking pediatric heart and stroke research that is key to saving babies' lives.
You may also participate in one of the walks! There are two dates and locations as follows:
