My name is Misha, I am 50 years old and I am a survivor. A few years ago I had to endure a double bypass due to a hereditary heart condition. Unfortunately my mom also had the same condition and suffered a heart attack and passed away. I am a mom of 4, grandma of 3 soon to be 5. I am forever greatful that I was able to have the surgery and survive.
It started out with me have to get 2 stents put in. One of the stents had a 99 % blockage, that's when I had my heart attack then 6 months later I had another heart attack and had a double bypass then 6 months after my bypass I had July 23rd 2024 I had another blockage and had another stent put in .
To be able to participate in this walk means a lot to my family and I, for we are all blessed and thankful that I survived.
I have a long life to live to enjoy my children and grand babies.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today. I appreciate any amount that can help.
