As you may know, I am super passionate about heart disease & stroke. I spent most of my career as a nurse in Cardiac Rehabilitation helping so many wonderful people affected by heart disease. They have shaped who I am today. On a personal note, heart disease has also affected me and my family. Because of science and research, I was able to have my dad for my whole life up until March 12th. He had atrial fib with several cardio versions, ablations, pacemaker, BV pacer, and congestive heart failure. He lived a full life until age 92. He made such an impact on my life, my family, and the community of Spearfish. I am so grateful for the time I was given with him.
