I'm walking for all people who live with heart disease & the effects of stroke. However, this year I'd especially like to dedicate my walk to the wonderful Tammy Burkee. Tammy is my Best Buddy Becky's mom, and she is one tough cookie!! She suffered a massive heart attack in March. Luckily, her nursing background made her aware something was very wrong. Heart attack symptoms in women can be very subtle, but Tammy knew she had to get medical help asap. The road to recovery continues, but Tammy is doing well thanks to expert medical. Love you Tammy, and I am

9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I Walk to Save Lives. Join my team!! Help me reach my goal today.
