I Walk to Save Lives!
This year's adventure will take us almost 400 miles around the beautiful Eagle River area in Wisconsin. Water, woods, and wildlife will keep us company as we cover the miles to raise money for the crucial mission of the AHA.
Why do all this work - the planning, the training, the fundraising?
My father, Harry Boryczka died of heart disease after a life marked by multiple heart surgeries. My best friend, Don Madenis died of an aortic anurism at 39. My Wife and teammate Karen Nissen-Boryczka has lived with heart disease her entire life. And my friend David Browne, who died of undiagnosed heart disease at 24, and whose friendship changed the course of my life forever.
This is why I ride. This is why I support the AHA. You don't have to bike across the country to make a difference, by joining our team with a donation today you are making a difference!
