My mom had a serious heart attack on Christmas Eve morning.
My husband and I just happened to be staying at her house that night only because of the holiday. At 4am she finally woke us up to tell us that she "thought" she might be having a heart attack. We called 911 and within minutes help arrived. They checked her vitals and immediately rushed her into the ambulance.
Little did we know that while my husband and I quickly packed my mom a bag and jumped in the car, my mom had a cardiac arrest in the ambulance while still in the driveway. The paramedics immediately jumped into action and were able to get her to the hospital quickly.
The paramedics saved her life and it is truly a miracle she is still here with us today.
I walk for my mom and to help save lives. Help me reach my goal today by joining our team or donating towards our goal. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
