Why I walk.....
On March 26, 2025 I was rushed to Toledo Hospital ER. Brian dropped me off at the door and parked the car. When he walked through the doors, 2 minutes later, he heard them shouting for the crash cart.
Turns out I was having a STEMI, which I later learned is a very serious type of heart attack.
I was rushed to the Cath Lab where they discovered a 100% blockage in my Right Coronary Artery. The amazing Cardiologist was able to clear the blockage and successfully place a stent. She saved my life.
This past year has been a roller coaster, to say the least. But, with the immeasurable help and support of Brian, Jase, my Dad and Jolene, Aunt Darla and Aunt Deb, and a few amazing friends, I made it through.
It really is amazing how quickly things can change. I am thankful for each and every person who's been by my side for this journey.
I am forever grateful for my second chance.
