Heart health has always been deeply personal to me. I lost my grandfather to a heart attack before I was three, and my dad has faced heart challenges his entire life—thankfully, he’s still with us. About ten years ago, I learned I had heart damage from a childhood illness I never even knew I had, and I now rely on a pacemaker.

In the design and construction industry, our work depends on the tradesmen and tradeswomen who show up every day to bring our projects to life. Their commitment builds our communities—so it’s critical that we help protect their heart health. That’s what drives me.

I’m raising awareness to create real impact for the people who build the world around us.
