Coming from a project management background at JLL, I've always believed that the strongest projects are built on strong relationships. When I was invited to join Hard Hats with Heart, I saw an opportunity that perfectly aligned with both my professional values and personal interests.
Throughout my career, I've watched our industry evolve and grow, but I've also seen how demanding it can be on the people who make it all possible. The construction sector requires not just skill and dedication, but physical and mental resilience that depends heavily on good health.
What drew me to Hard Hats with Heart wasn't just the mission of supporting cardiovascular health research and education, though that's incredibly important. It was the unique community this organization has built - a network of industry professionals who understand that taking care of our health is just as critical as taking care of our projects.

 

9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.

 

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
