2026 Northeast Ohio Heart Walk
Wesley's Pacemakers
Wesley has always lived an incredibly active, bodybuilding-focused lifestyle. In 2020, he was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy—a condition that changed his life in an instant.
On July 29, 2025, while at a museum with our daughters, Natalya (12) and Alyssa (10), Wesley suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. He suffered a second cardiac arrest the following day.
In the middle of that terrifying experience, Natalya showed a level of strength and maturity far beyond her years. I will always be proud and grateful for how she handled that moment until I could get to them.
The reality is, 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside of a hospital do not survive. These emergencies can happen anywhere—at home, at work, on athletic fields, or in our communities. Being prepared can mean the difference between life and death.
That’s why we’re walking. Every person who joins our team and every dollar donated helps fund CPR training, supports lifesaving research, and gives more families like ours a chance at survival.
We walk to honor Wesley—his strength, his resilience, and the way he continues to fight every single day.
Please join our team or consider making a donation today. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers—and give more people a second chance at life.
