Welcome to the FPAN Heart & Sole Team Page!
I’m honored to co‑champion the FPAN Heart & Sole team alongside Dr. Kvasnicka.
That’s me in the photo with three incredible women who inspire me every day—my sisters Mary Jo and Joanie, and my dear friend Mikki—just moments after completing a half marathon in Woodbury. We ran for strength, for perseverance, and most importantly, for lives.
Here’s the hard truth: 9 out of 10 people who experience cardiac arrest outside of a hospital do not survive. In many of those cases, lifesaving CPR was not started in time.
But this is something we can change—together.
Cardiac arrest doesn’t wait for the “right” place or time. It happens at work, in our homes, on athletic fields, and in neighborhoods just like ours. When it does, the readiness of everyday people—neighbors, coworkers, friends—can be the difference between life and death.
That’s why we are stepping up on May 30.
When you join FPAN Heart and Sole or donate, you’re helping:
- Train more people in lifesaving CPR
- Advance research that saves lives
- Turn ordinary bystanders into confident lifesavers
Every dollar matters. Every participant matters. You matter.
This work is personal to us. By uniting as FPAN Heart & Sole, we are choosing action, compassion, and hope. We are choosing to stand up for our communities and for each other.
Join us. Walk or run with us. Donate if you’re able.
Together, we can save lives—one heartbeat at a time!
