As many know, I suffered a massive heart attack on September 13th, 2024 in my hotel room while out of town for a work conference. Thanks to a last minute 911 call and the miracles performed by emergency services, my life was saved. I experienced a widowmaker heart attack with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, one of the highest mortality medical emergencies which exists, I'm blessed and grateful to be one of the few who survive.
Thankfully, I received intervention promptly and left the hospital two days later on a flight home from Dallas. I'm blessed to have fully recovered with minimal heart damage, have maintained an active lifestyle, and to have the opportunity to continue sharing my story with so many. The response and support from friends and family has been tremendous with many reprioritizing their health, scheduling check ups, and becoming more prepared to respond for others in the event of an emergency.
Twin Cities 2026 Heart Walk will be my families second year completing the walk and working to raise donations for the American Heart Association. Thanks for visiting my page, reading my story, and considering donating to our team!!
Pictures on this page include my family, parents, and the Grapevine, TX Emergency Responders who answered the call and saved my life.
