We're all tied to heart disease and stroke in some way. We have to change that. Will you help me?

My older brother Nathan, has Congestive Heart Failure. He is eventually going to require a transplant and has been seeing doctors since his mid 20s. I walk to help the research and care for him. So he can see his daughter and niece and nephews grow up and thrive. We lost our uncle, dad and grandpa to the disesase. I will do anything to help him.

I walk for my "niece" Kennedy, aka Special K. She was born with a congenital heart defect and unfortunately didn't make it. No parent or child should have to go through that pain. 

I walk for my Aunt Mapo, who recently had to have a quadruple CABG procedure done. Plus all my other family members affected (Mom, G n G, etc)

I walk for my best friends husband, Don, who passed away from a sudden cardiac event. 

There are so many more people and reasons that I walk. 

I walk for the future in healthcare. I work in an ECMO centered hospital. I see heart cases every day. I walk for them. For the research.
