You may remember me participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk in previous years, however this year hits close to home. I am walking and raising money in memory of my dad, Tom Switzer, who suddenly passed away on May 19th, 2025 from a heart attack at home.
Did you know that 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital do not make it? Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can make a difference!
I Walk to Save Lives ~ I Walk in Memory of my Dad ~ Help me reach my goal today
Please consider joining me to walk on Saturday, May 30th at Target Field, or consider donating towards this cause that is near and dear to my heart!
