As most of you know March 18th 2025, I had a surgery to have a cardiac pacemaker implanted.
After receiving chemotherapy over the years, I have developed an ELECTRONIC BLOCKAGE Third-degree heart block, or complete heart block, is a critical condition where electrical signals fail to travel from the heart's upper to lower chambers, causing an extremely slow, inefficient heartbeat. This medical emergency often results in fainting, severe dizziness, fatigue, and potential cardiac arrest, necessitating immediate pacemaker implantation.
This will be my first solo walk since under going chemotherapy. I would like the opportunity to give back to those who saved my life and gave me the opportunity to change my path.
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death.
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
