Claire is my (team captain) best friend's daughter. She was born with Trisomy 9 Mosaicism. We started the team when she was 2, and she just celebrated her 10th birthday!!!! Massive accomplishment. Some of the many things this little warrior has and been through, a feeding tube, survived multiple surgeries including heart surgery, has a sleep apnea machine, and Scoliosis which requires her to have rods placed in her back. I could write all day with everything this sweet little girl has been through. She does it all and keeps smiling. Some of her favorite things to do are, be with her family, swim in the pool, and play with her friends at school. She is the motivation of our team, not just for the walk but every day.
