We walk for Sona Patel, a brave little warrior who underwent open heart surgery at just six days old. Now, almost 2 years old, you would never know what she has been through. She is thriving, full of personality, and talking nonstop about puppies, turtles, and sharks!

 

We also walk for her incredible grandpa, who had heart surgery just months before her. They are scar buddies for life, a reminder of the strength of family and the life-saving progress made possible by science and research.

 

Sona and her family are surrounded by love, strength, and the most amazing support system. We walk to honor that love and to help more families find the same hope.
