I walk in memory of Sam.  

 

Year 11 of walking in the Heart Walk is upon us and I have been thinking about how many wonderful people have donated through the years! I know that so many of you have also been affected by heart disease either personally or through a loved one . This year I’m hoping you can donate not only in memory of Sam but in memory of all the others in your life who have been touched by this disease .

 

I lost my husband Sam suddenly and tragically when he was only 54 years old.   My family, friends and I take this as our chance to celebrate the wonderful man that he was.    He was the best husband, father, son and friend anyone could ask for.  He loved adventures, never knew a stranger, he was a story teller and the life of every party.  He lived his life to the absolute fullest each day and it breaks my heart that he is not with us.

I walk in the hopes that we can make a difference in other people lives and hopefully make a difference in fighting this disease .
