2026 Greater Omaha Heart & Stroke Walk
REMI ROCKS
Remi was born with Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia. He was diagnosed an hour and a half after birth, he was born a "blue baby." 12 hours later he was on a medical flight to Dallas Children's to receive care. At 4 days old he had a cath procedure done to place a stent. We lived in Dallas at the Ronald McDonald House until he was big enough for surgery. At 5 months old, Remi received his open heart surgery. Since then Remi has been a healthy, happy, and musical heart warrior. Remi is now 4 and has self taught himself how to play the drums & is thriving while becoming the youngest to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. He is now treated at Children's Nebraska for annual appointments and his heart beats to its own drum.
