I have many reasons why I choose to support BGCAPPs AHA Fundraising Campaign.  The top three reasons are my father, my husband and my brother-in-law who were all affected by heart disease.  Dad at age 56, husband at age 65, brother-in-law at age 50 and all survived. 

Heart disease is the cause of death in 1 of 5 people……  My hope is that one day, possibly with the help of the AHA, there will be annual preventative heart screenings available for all.
