I was born with several congenital heart defects including Heterotaxy syndrome, Double-outlet right ventricle, Atrioventricular septal defect, etc. I have undergone 6 heart surgeries, including 2 open heart surgeries. On November 25th, I will be having a 3rd open heart surgery. I walk because I know that with every step, I am helping others like me.
