As a Heart Transplant Coordinator, I have the privilege of walking alongside patients and families through one of the most critical and life-changing journeys of their lives. Every day, I witness the devastating impact of advanced heart disease—but also the extraordinary resilience of the human spirit and the life-saving power of medical innovation, organ donation, and coordinated care.
My work has shown me that transplantation is not just about surgery; it’s about prevention, education, access to care, and long-term support. That is why I am passionate about raising funds for the American Heart Association. The AHA’s commitment to research, prevention, and advocacy directly supports the mission of reducing heart disease, improving outcomes, and giving patients a second chance at life.
Through this fundraising effort, I hope to honor my patients, support future breakthroughs, and help build a world where fewer hearts fail—and more lives are saved.
