This is my 10th year participating in the AHA Heart Mini and my 8th year as Executive Leadership Champion for UC Health West Chester Hospital. 

Raising research dollars to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke is a dear cause to me both on a personal and professional level. My Great Grandma suffered from a debilitating stroke, my Grandpa died from a heart attack and my Grandma’s CHF required her to have a pacemaker placed. As an Occupational Therapist, I have seen the impact of research helping restore a stroke survivor’s independence in every day activities.
