MEET TESSIE
Healthcare & Staffing Professional | Advocate for Stronger Patient Outcomes
I am a Dayton, Ohio native now living in Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati. I have built a career spanning marketing, operations, and business development in healthcare and staffing across start-ups, mid-size organizations, and some of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. I use my strengths in strategy, collaboration, and relationship building to make a meaningful impact on the people and organizations I partner with.
As part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) chaired by Terri Hanlon-Bremer, MSN RN, COO of TriHealth, my goal is to help raise awareness andfunds that support stronger outcomes for those most vulnerable to preventable heart-related injury or death.
WHY THIS MISSION MATTERS TO ME
My Grandpa?s Story
At age 55, my grandpa had a quadruple bypass surgery. At 84, he required another. Thanks to clinicians who intervened before a heart attack, he lived another 33 years, long enough for me to truly know, love, and learn from him. He passed away at 88, not from heart disease, but after a full life made possible by timely care.
My Niece Lily?s Story
My niece, Lily, was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital condition involving four heart defects. As an infant, she required open heart surgery. Today, she?s a thriving 7-year-old because of the research, advancements, and specialized care that made her treatment possible.
Both stories remind me why raising awareness and funds for heart health is so critical so every family has the chance to create more years of memories with the people they love.
Thank you for considering being a part of this campaign to continue to nurture and save lives.
