Noah is our heart warrior and he is stronger than he will ever know! He was born with Double Inlet Left Ventricle. He has had 3 open heart surgeries in less than 2 years. He had the Norwood at 1 week old the Glenn at 4 months and the Fontan at 18 months. The Fontan was not supposed to be until he was 3-5 years old. He developed a complication that caused his oxygen to be lower and we were starting to see symptoms from that so he needed it way earlier. It was very risky but it is what he needed. The complication he developed were AVMs (arteriovenous malformations) in his lungs. He had several of these causing his oxygen to be lower and significantly lower when he was upset.
