2026 Cincinnati Heart Mini-Marathon & Walk
Wake Me at the Finish Line
As members of UC Health Anesthesiology, we spend our days caring for patients at some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. We are there before surgery, during critical procedures, and in recovery- closely monitoring heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, and overall stability, often working behind the scenes to keep patients safe.
The heart is central to everything we do. From supporting complex cardiac cases to managing emergencies and major surgeries, we see firsthand how heart disease impacts patients, families, and our community every single day.
We’re participating in the Cincinnati Heart Mini-Marathon & Walk to support heart health beyond the hospital walls. This event represents prevention, awareness, and the importance of moving forward- both for our patients and for ourselves. Our team name, “Wake Me at the Finish Line,” is a lighthearted nod to our role in guiding patients safely through anesthesia and helping them wake up on the other side of critical moments.
By walking and running together, the UC Health Anesthesiology team is proud to advocate for heart health, honor the patients we care for, and support a cause that truly hits close to home.
