Hudy is a heart hero! He suffered a cardiac arrest at home and was saved due to his mother performing CPR on him at their home. Turns out he has long QT syndrome and now has an implanted device called an ICD that will shock or pace his heart if his rhythm decides to get funky!

 

9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. \u200b
