In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don't survive. But for the Mexican and Latino communities, the reality is even tougher. Studies show that Hispanic adults are significantly less likely to receive lifesaving bystander CPR at home or in public compared to their white peers. Language barriers, a lack of bilingual training, and fear can turn a manageable emergency into a tragedy.
We can change that!
I am walking in this year's Heart Walk because I want to make sure our families have the tools to save lives and because our community deserves equal access to health education.
Every dollar donated and every walker who joins our team helps the American Heart Association fund culturally relevant research, translate vital materials, and bring Spanish-language CPR training directly into our neighborhoods. We are working to build a community where no one is left helpless because of a language barrier.
Help me protect our families and reach my fundraising goal today!
Extraordinary starts with YOU!!
