I'm proud to join the UChicago Medicine Anatomic Pathology team in this year's Heart Walk, supporting the American Heart Association.

This cause is personal to me. I've watched my father and my paternal grandmother endure multiple hospitalizations due to heart attacks and cardiovascular disease, and I've also lost friends and extended family members to heart-related illness. Those experiences have shown me how many lives are touched by heart disease and the importance of research, education, and prevention.
